Pros and cons of eMedic app for iPhone and iPad

eMedic app good for

I have been using eMedic on my PDA. Now it is back for iPhone and iPod and I like it very much.
Please consider putting an option in settings to use US or the rest of the world when it comes to measurements! Blood Glucose levels for example are in mg/dL, please consider also the option of mmol/L as we are not all Americans! Also, hoping the full version comes out soon, as some of the calculators, anatomy etc. are still not available in this pre-release version and its been a very long time since any updates!!! Will the app ever be completed??
Great app. If only my local EMS would put it into this kind of format.
This app has proved very useful in the week Ive had it. It could use a few upgrades to the anatomy pictures and some of the drug information could be expanded on as well, also it needs more ALS, PALS and ACLS information. I really hope version 1.0 is on its way very soon!
Well put together app easy to search information. Ive been using it to review things. Has a bunch of calculators that your cant use until the first patch that sound like they would be useful. Its pretty much like the informed ems guide app just with more Tx options more pictures, and alot more user friendly. Update... Finally updated with more thanks
Love the calculators, images could use updating but over all great app.

Some bad moments

Very buggy, many times the keyboard will not clear out of the way so that you can see the screen. The layout is very confusing and the graphics are very poorly rendered (does not look good on iPhone 4s display). Additionally this is a "pre-release/beta" version and as such is not worth $20. Plus isnt that a violation of Apples TOS?
HIGE waste of money. The app is nothing like I thought it would be. It has tabs at the bottom of the screen for abbreviations, anatomy parts of the body like femur and carotid pulse, algorithms that arent even the new current AHA guidelines for ACLS and PALS. Plus they tried to add in an Aspirin, pulse oximetry, EKG, spinal motion restriction, glucose levels, etc algorithms that are extremely not useful. There are no calculators on this app. No drugs/ drug info, burn calculator, pedi calculator, GCS, pupils, etc. NONE OF IT. This app is misleading. Its not helpful for EMS personnel especially when the ACLS and PALS algorithms are wrong. No pediatric info, no body systems tab..... Just BIG WASTE OF MONEY that I want back. This app is terrible and WAY over priced. You would be better off buying the EMS ALS from informed publishing and the ACLS/PALS advisor. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!!!
